About Me

After  five years of working as a professional nanny, I became drawn to the art of parenthood and the sacredness of the family dynamic. I have been a witness to the beautiful magic that is a child growing, learning and evolving. I have also witnessed adults growing into parenthood. I became passionate about that amazing transformation. I felt that this process was so important and so prolific, that I was called to hold space for families as a doula.

Many things have lead me to this path. I am of Native American and Latina decent and feel that this work has been in my lineage for generations. I doula through the lens of Ayurveda, herbalism, indigenous practices, as well as my experience as a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner.

My Philosophy

For me, birth and postpartum doula work means to hold space for the maiden transitioning into motherhood in pregnancy, the transition earth side for baby, parenthood for adults, and the expansion of the family tribe. It means focusing on shedding light on methods to educate you in the birthing experience, pain management techniques, and empowering you as a birthing person. Postpartum I aid in the birthing persons healing through herbs, nourishment, and bodywork. I provide assistance in the breastfeeding process, understanding baby cues, sleep patterns and the physical and spiritual healing for parents and baby. I am a shoulder to cry on, a person to laugh with, and a safe ally for the family.
